Liz Lampman lives in Hamilton, Ontario with my husband and our girls. I was a successful IT professional before finding out that I was truly in love with being a stay-at-home mom and professional Canadian blogger.
Here, you will find all sorts of great, easy recipes for the home cook.
I grew up baking bread with my grandmother, watching my dad cook chili, and my mom experimenting with new recipes. I’ve always had an interest in cooking and baking – and I am so thrilled to share my love of food with all of you.
I grew up eating a very English diet – Sunday roasts and a lot of meat and potatoes kind of meals, but there was also a lot of new flavours my mom would try from Saffron soup to Sweet and Sour Spareribs.
My husband is also Jamaican so over the last 10 years I have been on a culinary journey learning how to cook authentic Jamaican food with him.
I am totally mom-taught/grandma-taught and have no formal culinary training, unless you count learning how to roll hotdogs in crescent dough in grade 7 home economics.
I test most of my recipes at least once, but most are tried and trued family favourites. I don’t claim to be a chef or culinary goddess, I’m just a girl who loves food and cooking.
