How to Make Philly Cheesesteak Sliders
Yields: 12 sliders | Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cook Time: 25 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 2 Onions, Sliced
- 3 Green Peppers, sliced
- 2 lbs Shaved Beef
- 1 cup Beef Broth
- Salt & Pepper
- 1 tablespoon Garlic, Minced
- 12 Slider Buns
- 8 Provolone Sliced Cheese
- 1 tablespoon Italian Herbs, dried
- ½ cup Butter, melted
Directions:
In a saute pan add your olive oil, onions and peppers, toss to combine.
Cook over medium heat until soft. Remove from the heat and set to the side.
In a large saute pan add your shaved meat, 1/2 tablespoon minced garlic, beef broth, and salt & pepper to taste, toss to combine.
Cook over medium heat until the meat is cooked to medium. Set aside.
In a small bowl add the melted butter, italian herbs, and remaining minced garlic, mix to combine.
Slice your slider buns if needed. Place the bottom of the slider buns on one baking tray, and set aside.
Place the top of the slider buns on a separate tray.
Using the tray with the bottom buns add your cooked shaved meat covering all of the buns.
Top the shaved meat with the pepper and onion mix, covering it fully.
Take the sliced provolone and place it on top of the shaved meat pepper onion mix.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Take your slider top buns and brush it with the butter herb mixture.
Place the top buns on top of the bottom buns with the the meat and pepper mixture, then place it on the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
Remove from the oven and serve.
